Turn the World Green in the Blink of an Eye!

We are all increasingly become more aware of our responsibility to the environment and the need to save our planet.

Being “Green” may just be in vogue for now, or indeed we may have all embraced this positive change for good.

However it is not always easy to do the right thing and we all still have a long way to go before we can be certain of the world’s resources being safe and sustainable.

A friend recently sent me one of these mind illusion trick images which shows how easy it is for us to turn green just by focussing a little bit.

Look at the image below and if your eyes follow the movement of the rotating pink dot, the dots will remain only one color, pink.

However if you stare at the black “+” in the center, the moving dot turns to green.

Now, concentrate on the black “+” in the center of the picture. After a short period, all the pink dots will slowly disappear, and you will only see only a single green dot rotating.

Of course there is no green dot, and the pink ones really don’t disappear.

It’s amazing how our brains work. This also proves that things aren’t always what they seem.

Now if only we could turn the whole world green with just a blink of the eye!

I guess the only forward is for each one of us to do our bit daily towards recycling, minimising our waste, living sustainably and adopting greener practices. And then one day, it may just seem like it all happened in the blink of an eye
