Get my Book - and only Pay What YOU Like!

Incredibly it is now already March. How quickly the time is going already in 2008!
As I write this, I am looking out on onto a beautifully sunny day – spring is certainly in the air.
To mark the new season of hope and fresh beginnings, I am running a special offer for my book “Get the Life you Love and Live it” - you only pay what you like, plus postage and packing.
The book usually retails for £9.99 plus postage, but you can now get it for whatever price you wish to pay plus postage, anywhere in the world. You simply pay what you feel the book is worth to you.
So why am I making this offer?
I feel I am now back in the swing of things after a few months of rest, reflection and recuperation and it is time to celebrate life with renewed vigour and energy. This is my way of giving something back to the people out there who have been so supportive of me over the last few difficult months.
Also, I really believe in the value my book offers, and I want to spread my message and work as widely as possible. My intention is that a lot of people will benefit from this book - and will also get it for their family and friends.
I feel that the pay what you like offer will encourage even more people to buy the book.
And do please help me spread the word

1 commentChanging the world through the young people of today
It is 60 years this month that a remarkable book by a remarkable girl was published.
Anne Frank’s Diary was published on 25th June 1947 and has inspired generations of children ever since.
Nearly 40 million copies of Anne’ diary have been published in nearly 70 years. Burmese to Bengali and Belarussion, Kazak to Khmer and Korean, just imagine all these children sitting behind a diverse-range of book covers, being captivated by her words.
Later today, on Anne Fran’s 78th birthday, I will be attending an event to celebrate her life and her words. To mark this day, many other children will be honoured for their own unique achievements.
In the meantime, join me and also help spread her message by learning and living by the Anne Frank Declaration:-
No commentsValentine’s Day - a time for self-less giving

As we approach Valentine’s Day and a celebration of love, it is an opportunity for us to truly reconnect with the real meaning of this day. It is about LOVE, sharing and giving.
Rather than just focussing on what fancy gift we can give to our loved one, or how elaborately we can celebrate the day, let us focus on what we can actually give of ourselves. Even if we are single, it is time to give of ourselves to others.
It is really not about us anymore - it is about others and what we can do for others.
To illustrate this point, I would like to share with you a beautiful and poignant story which I first came across in a book by Wayne Dwyer - The Power of Intention (Amazon UK / Amazon USA
)
An Invitation…to reflect on your life

A few years ago, I came across some powerful and thought provoking words of inspiriation verse at just the right time in my life.
I was going through some major life changes, and a poem called “The Invitation” really resonated with me.
The verse is from a famous book - The Invitation (Amazon UK / Amazon USA
) by Oriah Mountain Dreamer.
Follow your heart

A couple of years ago when I was writing my second book “Get the Life you Love and Live it”, something major happened that changed the direction and content of the book.
It was all about learning to follow the heart.
In the summer of 2005, I had been working flat out on the book, only to be told by my wonderful and honest editor that my writing was flat and that she was not “getting” the real me. It was as if I was literally writing half heartedly.

During the last few years, I have read many books which have helped my growth and develpment.
One of my favourites is “The Four Agreements” (Amazon UK /Amazon USA
) by Don Miguel Ruiz.
The Four Agreements are based on ancients Toltec wisodm and offer a simple but powerful code of conduct and set of principles to live your life by. When I started to apply the Four Agreements a few years ago, they certainly helped me move forward in my life and opened up new ways of living and being.
