Three Wise Monkeys

The visual image of three monkeys advising us to “Hear no evil, Speak no evil, See no evil” is a great one to keep in mind all the time.

The concept of three wise figures probably originated from India, and then passed on to China and Japan. These three wise monkeys are now a favourite theme for ornamental pieces, and the inherent learning for us is the ability of the disciplined mind to avoid evil.

Experiencing Unconditional Love

My new friends in Dubai, Jim and Emma Wheat, who are shortly publishing their new book GO! Smell the Flowers asked me for my story of how I got to smell the flowers. They were curious as to how I got to lead the life I do now, a life of contribution, connection and celebration.

Their question made me reflect over the last seven years and it is amazing and humbling too, how much my life has changed since 2000.

In the summer of 2005, I spent many a day in Regents Park, the largest and best kept royal park in central London. It was here amongst the luscious and fragrant roses that I wrote my second book “Get the Life you Love and Live it”.
