Action, Momentum and Consistency to Make Things Happen

I have set myself some challenging goals between now and the end of the year. For example I want to be conversational in Spanish and perhaps visit Barcelona in December to practice what I have learnt.

I have already obtained some easy Spanish learning CDs and am listening to these as I type.

I am also asking around for a Spanish person to practice with, perhaps in return for English training.

In the last week, I have met already 2 Spanish people by chance and I am building up momentum.

I now have to be consistent every day until I achieve this language goal and others between now and the end of the year.

There are various lessons here for me and others about goal achieving:-

Action:- Get clear about your goal and take inspired action everyday to make it happen.

Momentum:- As you do something everyday towards your goal, you will build momentum which will carry you forward rapidly. You will find people and resources coming your way to help you get there.

Consistency:- Take consistent and focused action and keep at it. The more you do regularly, the easier it will get to get to your goal.

So there it is – Action, Momentum and Consistency – AMC.

From now on, remember AMC to make things happen in your life 🙂
